How to Install and Debug the Building Intercom System?

  • 2019-06-19 16:35:52

1.The Preparation before Installation

Before installing the equipment, it is necessary to carry out a comprehensive inspection of all the lines of the system, whether there is a disconnection or short circuit;

After confirming that there is no fault in the line of the whole system, the equipment can be installed. The soldering joints must be soldered.

When installing the equipment, it must be correctly wired according to the instructions attached to the product or the installation manual.

2. The Check before the Debugging

After all equipment have been installed, it is necessary to thoroughly check whether the wiring of each part is correct. If there is a connection in the wrong way, the whole system may not work properly.

In particular, check the connection of the power line. And if there is a short circuit between the positive and negative poles, the equipment will be burned after power-on which will cause a fire.

3. The Debugging of Unit

Under the condition that the line and wiring are correct and the equipment is in good condition, the unit system can work normally after being powered on.

When commissioning the unit building, we should connect all the wirings of the outdoor unit, the lowest level protector/decoder, and the indoor unit, and at the same time, number the room number of the indoor unit according to the instructions for use.

Normal operation indicates that the outdoor unit, the line, and equipment are normal; then cut off the system power supply, and connect the main line of the upper system to perform the second layer debugging (the system must be powered off when wiring), and then go up.

In the debugging process of the unit building, it is necessary to debug from the bottom layer one by one, that is, after the first layer is debugged, the second layer is debugged, and then the debugging is continued up to the whole unit. The debugging is completed and works normally.

If the equipment of the whole unit system is installed and the wiring is correct, but it cannot work after power-on, you can first power off and remove all the bus of the protector/decoder of the second layer or more to confirm whether the underlying equipment is normal. If it is normal, the fault is in the protector/decoder or indoor unit on the second floor or above. This makes it necessary to find the break down layer by layer.

If you encounter the above fault, if the floor is higher, you can use the "Golden Section Method" to check the fault, that is, disconnect the middle floor (such as 20 floors must be disconnected at 10 floors) above the protector / decoder Bus, restore the two-layer bus

4. Community Network Debugging

Before debugging the entire networked system, it is necessary to check whether the wiring of the entire networked trunk line and each of the relay isolators is correct. Soldering must be added to each node of the entire network to increase the reliability of the system operation.

The networked shielded cable must be connected to the weak electrical grounding point in the general control room of the guard unit. After the confirmation, the debugging of the entire networked system can be started.

Before calling, the local number of each indoor unit must be set, and the number of each indoor unit under the same guard unit cannot be the same. Otherwise, when the outdoor unit calls the guard unit, multiple indoor units will be activated at the same time which causes howling.

For a community with fewer outdoor units, if the devices of the entire networked system are installed and the wiring is correct, but it cannot work after power-on, you can completely remove the network bus after the nearest relay isolator and check whether the system works properly. If the system is normal, the fault is on the network bus after the nearest relay isolator, so you must find the source of the fault one by one.

If the community have more than 24 outdoor units, you can use the "Golden Section Method" to check the fault. You can disconnect the networked bus of the intermediate relay isolator first, and access to the guard unit to confirm the fault is in the places where before the intermediate relay isolator or after the isolator. According to this method, you can quickly find the fault cause.
